In a world void, for the most-part of human life, one man stands out as hope for the future. Duke Woods, "The Woodman" stands against the evilness of mankind that has also survived the virus. He helps build Coast Town - a safe haven, creates his own home on the Downs and teaches others how to live in a world where there is no running water, electricity or doctors on hand. This is survival in the world after the lights went out!
Dark and gruesome, violent and hopeful, the saga tells of the struggle for survival against all the odds.

Books 1-4 are on-going but can be read as individual stories, Duke Wood's trials and tribulations, the reason for the release of modified Ebola and the answers to many questions can be found here in these four books. Books 5 & 6 are stand alone stories following on from the first four.
