A little information about the author.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM/WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
Born in Hampshire, a Hampshire Hog (or to say it correctly, an 'ampshire 'og!) I now live on the south coast, in the real Coast Town of Duke's world (The Woodman series) and it is also the village of SNIGGER and 'An Unusual Chain of Events' and 'Hardman Does Cry', where it gets its real name of East Wittering.
WHAT'S THE DAY JOB?
I am an Instructor/Assessor, ex-mechanic & marine engineer, ran my own business for twelve years and I have been an Archer and Coach, having been OIC of SEME Archers and the power behind West Sussex Youth Archers. I am also, obviously, an author!
Which Authors do you like?
part from those shown on the drop-down pages above, I enjoy Simon Kirnick, James Patterson, Karen Rose...actually there are too many to list, but they are the people I read the most.
WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN INTERESTS?
I enjoy the beach, which is a short walk from my front door, cartooning, writing (obviously) drag racing (I have built a few engines in my time) History, Archery and Real Ale, woodlands, Hot Rods and family, obviously ...quite a mix, really!
I'm a family man and love spending time with them. I love England, the countryside, castles, buildings and history everywhere you go.

WHEN DID YOU START WRITING?
I have been writing since a young age and wrote The Woodman in 2000 when unable to work. It was published in 2012 on Amazon, the rest, as they say, is history!
WHAT ARE YOUR STORIES ABOUT?
In the main, the stories are murder mystery (and Adult Murder Mystery) with Adventure/Thriller, such as The Woodman series (which is set in a post-Ebola outbreak world and concerns Duke Woods, a reluctant hero archer and his battle to survive and save others) but I also have two love stories, one based in Jersey during WW2 and another love story about my Grandparents set in WW1.
There is also a Horror/murder Mystery (SNIGGER) story too. Snigger concerns mass murders, gruesome murders at that, committed in the name of a succubus and witch who died over 400 years ago!
I guess the overall thread, if there is one, is murder.
WHERE CAN YOUR WORK BE PURCHASED?
Each Book is currently an E-Book on Amazon and on smashwords, as well as in paperback (selected items) therefore whether you have a Kindle or not, you can read my books on any device. Feedback can be seen/given on Goodreads and the Sites of purchase as well as on this site or via e-mail.
Smashwords gives me outlets via W. H. SMITH (order only) Barnes & Noble, Nook, I-Tunes and many more.
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR IDEAS?
The Woodman is simply what I imagine life to be like if we are ever hit with an apocalyptic event. The ideas pour from me and the books write themselves. There is, perhaps, inputs from Survivors (BBC1) and the Mad Max films!
Animal Hunt, again writes itself but the hero is based on a few army guys I know.
