The Woodman saga;

EBOLA, modified for reasons not fully understood at first, wipes out 90% of Humankind.

For those that did survive, Ebola, known as The Death, is the least of their worries.

1 The Roads of Hell

The Woodman, Duke Woods comes out of his woodland home to save Coast Town from the horror headed their way.

Duke has history with Coast Town and a score to settle with The Black Pope, a madman out of prison and leading a gang of murdering thugs.

The setting is England after an Ebola outbreak wipes out 90% of mankind. No electrics, no computers, nothing "nice" left, the survivors go back to hand-to-mouth and turn their hand to farming in a bid to carry on.

On route Duke meets Sue and her family. Duke becomes besotted with Sue but she has other ideas, besotted also, she has far greater plans tham Duke does.

Duke befriends Shadow and together they take on the might of The Black Pope.

Duke also faces the horror of fathers death and learns why he was forced to leave Coast Town so many years ago.

He finds true love with Hannah, a woman he saved months beforehand and Duke takes her home to live in the woodland he loves so much.

Duke also contracts The Death (Ebola)

All the time, unknown to them all, the last of the British Army watch and wait from their underground lair.

Sub-plots, love and action throughout.

2 The Fires of Hell

Duke Woods faces new dangers with the arrival of a reverend and a firestarter. The army, now firm friends assist in the day to day tasks and Duke returns home to Hannah who is expecting his child.

Duke discovers The Black Pope is still alive and that a bounty has been placed on his head. Duke battles an assassin sent to dipatch him and Shadow meets his end.

Sue claims her baby is also Duke's child and The Death (Ebola) strikes again.

A small band of men and assassins travel from Dover Castlewith the intention of taking over Coast Town and The Woodman is once again called to defend the place and deal with the price on his head.

They are being watched from the sea. As the small boats and the band of men converge on Coast Town, others watch the drama as it unfolds.

Sub-plots, love and action throughout.

3 The Gates of Hell

Duke takes Shadow's and Sue's child home, and is kidnapped by the mob from Dover Castle and forced to run for his life in a game dsigned to keep contrl of the masses living there.

The people from across the sea take Sue and others for a new life in the sun, only the man talks a good talk and nothing could be further from the truth.

Years of peace follow with Duke being looked to as father figure to five kids. As young adults they are nearly as adept as he with a bow and within the forest. Then trouble rises once more. Sur a few others return from their personal hell. Not only does The Death erupt again but a new evil comes from the north. Duke is leader of his people in the south and friends with others near Oxford and in the west but they are all under threat of this new band making their way south, killing everyone in their path.

4 Hell on Earth

Duke finds that waiting to be attacked is more stressful than he could have imagined. When the attack finally comes it is bloody and Duke must chase the surviving gang members south, and to the isle. Kufuo is still missing, ships head their way from the new world created to save them and faces his innermost fears and the most evil person he has ever come across.

BOOK 5 All Hell Broke Loose

The newcomers have been settled for eighteen months but the transition to life in England has not been easy.

Ebola still lurks in its various forms, Oliver Wade; a would-be politician gives Duke Woods a hard time of it and a perpetual thief creates problems too, but none of that is a patch on the troubles coming from across the Channel. A Neo-Nazi thug leads his gang of bloodthirsty maniacs and they have a score to settle. Attacked from within, Duke’s greatest battle yet becomes a painfully personal one as he struggles to hold back the tide of evil.
